Meet your new deo from Akt

Deo by Akt

Let’s elevate our deo routine.

Finding the right deo that a) performs b) it’s gentle on your skin c) sustainable and, for people like me obsessed with design and packaging 4) looks amazing on your bathroom shelf may be really challenging.

With Akt London, I can tell you guys, that this haunting of the perfect deo is over.
I have been trying for a while their deo in their Orange Grove scent and I want to share with you my experience.

  • Their formula is extremely smooth and stable: the coconut oil stays in its place without breaking down from the shea butter. The texture is important because deo balms tend to be grainy on the touch due to the bicarbonate and other roots powder blends: this can be irritating to the skin, creating an unwanted peeling effect on the skin of your armpits. This is not the case, and I applied Akt deo balm both on shaved and unshaved armpits.
  • The soft, naturally scented paste that comes out of the tube is easy to spread and a little goes a long way!

  • It doesn’t stain your clothes or t-shirts and doesn’t build up. When I take the shower I can feel it dissolves really easily and my skin is hydrated and smooth, with no residue of the product or any scent left as I was experiencing with other similar deo balms.

Furthermore, the reason why I am rooting for this brand is they use practical aluminum tubes and caps (no plastic here!), which we all know is a material that can be forever recycled.

The tube is such a great idea, light to carry, more hygienic than sticking your fingers in the jar!

Akt offers also a fancy – and yet smart – range of tools, like the Assistant: this covetable tool helps you to use the product until the last bit without messing around, and makes the whole experience so sensorial!

I can’t wait to try the other scents and alternate them throughout the seasons or just based on my mood!

A thing for beauty, is a joy for ever.
