Papaya Bowl recipe

Orange but like papaya…

Papaya fruit is living its moment lately and the look of this fruit is incredibly appealing and comforting due to the mellow sunset colors and the pearl-shaped seeds inside that look like chocolate chips. Indeed papaya is not only a gift for the eyes but also a delicious fruit! Papaya is packed with fibers and contains more than 200% of our daily requirement of Vitamin C. There is no reason why we shouldn’t give a try to it and experiment with some new breakfast bowl for the hot season. Mixing the frozen banana with our papaya will help us to reach a rich and smooth texture almost like a melting tropical fruity ice-cream! You can really top the bowls with your favorite berries or with some vegan yogurt, lately, I am into vegan quark!

Ingredients

  • 1 papaya
  • 1 frozen banana
  • berries
  • chia seeds/ basil seeds
  • mint leaves

Directions

  1. cut the papaya in half
  2. remove the seeds
  3. scoop out the flesh
  4. blend the papaya together with the frozen banana until smooth
  5. use the skin of the fruit as a bowl and fill it with the mix
  6. top with berries and chia or basil seeds and fresh mint leaves
